Project Management for Pharmaceutical Professionals
-
The Biopharmaceutical industry faces increasing pressure to research, develop and bring drugs to market in shorter timescales and within tighter budgets. This requires project-based skills outside ones functional role including a different set of technical and interpersonal skills that can be applied to Biopharmaceutical projects. The FDA Critical Path initiative is also impacting on the importance of using project management for running Biopharmaceutical projects. We offer a great opportunity to share experiences and best practice with other Biopharmaceutical industry professionals. Participants are encouraged to bring a current real project to the programme to which they can apply the concepts and techniques, thus reaping the benefits immediately and enhancing the learning experience.
- Turning 'Theory' into 'Practice'?
-
We have created a programme that will introduce you to the skills, tools and the methodologies essential to the successful planning and controlling of projects. Of particular focus will be the development of your own people management and interpersonal skills required to deliver performance on projects at all levels. The course is driven by practical experience and your needs, giving you the opportunity to immediately apply your new understandings and skills to your own projects.
- Who should attend?
-
This course has been specifically designed to address the needs of pharmaceutical professionals, biopharmaceutical professionals and those working for generic companies and who are, or will be, involved in pharmaceutical projects. The programme will be of benefit to both newly appointed project team leaders/managers as well as project team members aspiring to be project leaders.
