The HR Business Partner Master Class

Many organisations have implemented an HR Business Partner organisational model, due to stakeholders’ requirement that HR takes a proactive role in both supporting current business needs and anticipating future business direction. Research has however confirmed that the HR Business Partner model has rarely delivered the full ‘value added’ activities it promised. One reason is HR BP’s receiving little or no training on how to be ‘strategic’ or ‘change experts’. Another reason is often the poor championing of the HR BP role inside the organisation, resulting on unchanged expectation from line managers. Unless HR can ensure that their HR BP’s have role clarity, the skills and the attitude to deliver real added value, the credibility of the entire function is at stake.

Turning 'Theory' into 'Practice'?

This highly interactive and innovative workshop equips attendees with the knowledge, tools and techniques to improve the deliverables within their existing HR Business Partner role. It will also have a strong positive impact on their personal skills and HR Business Partner proficiency. Delegates are warned that this intensive course will require some work in the evenings to critically examine both what their organisations require of their HR BPs as well as evaluating their own existing skill set. Participants will be encouraged and supported to build a personal development plan for future success.
