Strategic Role of HR in Planning and Delivering Successful M&A post-deal Integration
-
After the major slow down in European M&A transactions over the last couple of years, next year is expected to be a year of consolidation for most industries. Its becoming clear that personnel issues are essential to the potential success or failure of an M&A deal. Without recognizing and managing human capital in merged companies the deal can never be called complete. The role of HR director is critical at the post-deal stage: to make employees more productive, to stimulate their performance, to introduce them smoothly to change, to retain talent, to deal with cultural differences, to create a renewed corporate culture and to ensure that the integration process is successful and complete.
- Turning 'Theory' into 'Practice'?
-
This two day course covers M&A integration and separation, targeted towards HR and Communications people. Course participants will be exposed to first hand experience in all aspects of post-deal integration, including change management, cross-cultural management, communications, corporate culture alignment, integration for HR and HR integrating the company.
