Equality Matters: The Equality Act 2010 – Meeting the Challenge

The Equality Act 2010 introduces the most sweeping change in equality legislation in forty years and will have a profound impact on both the private and public sector. It introduces new concepts, new legal requirements for all employers and enhanced duties for the public sector. It marks a sea change in how we will need to think about and act on equality matters. This legislation aims to help deliver a fairer society for all. What will this mean for you? Are you ready to meet the challenge? Can you make this work to your advantage? Can you be an agent of change?

Turning 'Theory' into 'Practice'?

The session is a mix of focussed delivery and highly interactive and practical sessions. We will look at cases and scenarios as well as giving participants the opportunity to look at their own business or organisation in order to get the grips with its application back at work.

Who should attend?

This course is relevant to all employers whether operating in the private or the public sector.
